Let’s Dance Performing Arts School, based in Weymouth, was founded in 1992 by Julie Storey, who recognised a local need for a welcoming, inclusive space where children and adults alike could enjoy dancing for fun and performance experience.

Run by the dynamic mother-and-daughter duo Julie and Rachel Storey, alongside a dedicated team of experienced instructors, Let’s Dance now offers a wide range of classes in ballet, modern/street, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. The school operates six days a week, holding classes for adults and Children during term time.

Students at Let’s Dance have countless opportunities to perform, with two major shows at Weymouth Pavilion Theatre each year, plus appearances at competitions and events both locally and beyond. With a strong focus on confidence-building, community spirit, and creativity, Let’s Dance is proud to celebrate the joy of movement for all ages and abilities.

Dance Uniform

Wearing a uniform is important because it promotes equality, discipline, and a sense of belonging. It reduces social differences, saves time, and encourages professionalism. Uniforms also ensure safety by making members easily identifiable and represent the pride and values of an institution or organisation.

Let's Dance Class Uniform is not mandatory; however, Sports and Dancewear is.

All Stars Uniform

The All Stars uniform is important because it was chosen by the team members themselves. This makes it more meaningful, as it reflects their shared identity and teamwork. By wearing a uniform they selected together, the players feel proud, united, and confident, showing not only their skills but also their strong bond as one team

All Stars are expected to wear their uniform to all classes and performances
